This privacy policy of the Marger website www.marger.lt is intended to inform you:
• how your personal data is processed on the Marger website;
• what is Marger’s direct marketing policy;
• what are your rights regarding the processing of your personal data;
• what are the periods of data storage;

2.1. We process your data based on the following purposes:
2.1.1. Request management: Marger processes your data when you contact us by e-mail when submitting a request, providing questions, feedback, or sending information to the contacts indicated on our website or social networks. For this purpose, Marger processes your name, e-mail address, and/or telephone number, to pursue a legitimate interest related to the administration of the requests you have submitted. All emails are deleted after 6 months after the resolution of the relevant issue.
2.1.2. Selection of candidates for Marger employees/lawyers: if you contact us by filling out the form at www.marger.lt in the “Career” section, we will process your name, e-mail address, telephone number. In such cases, Marger will process your personal data for this purpose on the basis of legitimate interest. All e-mails and applications via the “Career” section and/or “Contacts” section are deleted 6 months after the resolution of the relevant issue.
2.1.3. Information on how our website features are used: Our website usage data may include your IP address, browser type, referral source, duration of your visit to the website, and frequency of your use of our website. Marger processes this data on the basis of legitimate interest, in order to improve and create new content. The data retention period is specified in the “Cookies” section.
2.1.4. Direct marketing: for this purpose, Marger processes your personal data – name, surname, e-mail address to notify you of Marger’s news updates by e-mail. This data is processed on the basis of consent and will be stored for 3 years from the date of receipt of consent. If services were previously provided to you and you have not objected, then the data will be processed on the basis of legitimate interest. In order to maintain quality relations with existing clients, such data will be processed until the date of termination of legal services or after the client expresses an objection to processing data for this purpose.

3.1. Marketing communications to inform you about our news by email, are sent to you only if we have your consent.
3.2. If you have been provided services before and you have no objections, among other things, we will inform you about our other products that may be relevant to you and information related to them.
3.3. You can opt out of marketing messages either by clicking on the appropriate link in the marketing message you receive or by contacting us by e-mail dpo@marger.lt.

4.1. Marger may disclose your personal data for the purpose of providing specific services to the extent that it is necessary to provide such services.
4.2. If the data is transferred to persons who are established outside the European Union or the European Economic Area, Marger applies one of the following security measures: signs a contract with the recipient of the data, which is based on the Standard Contractual Conditions approved by the European Commission; permission is obtained from the Data Protection Inspectorate.
4.3. Marger uses information technology service providers to ensure and implement appropriate organizational and technical security measures.
4.4. We also undertake not to transfer your personal data to any unrelated third parties.

5.1.1. The right to know (to be informed) about the processing of your data. This right includes:
• receiving information about your processed data and data acquisition sources;

• information about the existence of automated decision-making.
5.1.2. The right to access your data and get acquainted with information on how it is processed, and specifically, to receive information on whether Marger processes personal data related to you. In the case of data processing, also access and receive processed data and other related information.
5.1.3. Request that Marger correct, delete or restrict the processing of personal data:
The right to correct data is available in cases where the data is inaccurate or incomplete. In this case, you should submit the exact data to be corrected together with the request to correct the data.
The right to request data deletion is exercised in the following cases:
• if the processed data is no longer needed by Marger for the purpose for which it was processed;
• if the data was processed only on the basis of your consent – after you withdraw your consent;
In fulfilling legal obligations, Marger is obliged to delete processed data when it was processed illegally. This right is not absolute, and exceptions are possible when the data is necessary to exercise freedom of expression and information; for Marger to comply with mandatory legal obligations; also, necessary to assert, exercise, or defend legal requirements – Marger has the right to limit the exercise of this right.

• if the data was processed illegally, but you do not agree to the deletion of the processed data;
• if the data is no longer necessary for the purpose being processed, but it is necessary for you to assert, execute or defend legal requirements;

5.1.6. The right to file a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate (L. Sapiegos str. 17, Vilnius, ph. +370 5 271 2804, +370 5 279 1445). If you believe that Marger violates data protection laws when processing your personal data, you can file a complaint with the specified supervisory authority. However, Marger strives to resolve all disputes promptly and amicably, so we invite you to first give the opportunity to resolve your complaint to the Marger team by sending it by e-mail at dpo@marger.lt.
